There are the various unique features available to any Merchant who uses the Decipay Services Device or the Mobile App or both. Our services cover various scenarios that a Merchant might come across while accepting UPI payments from their customers.
Even when the owner of the shop isn’t available/present at the shop, his employees can use the Mobile App which can be installed on multiple phones and the owner will still receive a message on account of any successful transaction on his registered mobile number. This way, the owner is assured of the smooth functioning of his shop in his absence.
Another unique feature about the Decipay Services Device is that each device has an option of multiple cashiers. What this means is that the once the cashier changes as a result of end of his shift, the next cashier who is on duty can select his name which appears on the Decipay Services Device. This way, the transactions carried out individually by each cashier is reflected.
There are various ways for every
1. Merchant who is using our services to receive payments from their customers.
The first one is through the Decipay Services Device.
2. The second way is through the Decipay Services Mobile App which has two options available for the customer to pay:
(i) A dynamic QR code is generated which is unique for every customer and which the customer scans through any UPI App like Paytm, Bhim, GooglePay, PhonePe, etc through which he wishes to make a payment.
(ii) A static QR code is available which is the same for every customer and can be displayed physically at the shop of the Merchant. The customer can simply scan the QR which is displayed and pay through any UPI App like Paytm, Bhim, GooglePay, PhonePe, etc. In this case, the amount of the transaction is entered by the customer himself and once the transaction is successful, the Merchant receives a message on his registered mobile number.
(iii) The option of having a static QR code is beneficial to any home deliveries which the Merchant wishes to make. The delivery person simply has to hang the static QR code around his neck or wear is as a badge and the customer can scan it at the time he receives his home delivery. The process after scanning is that the customer pays using any UPI App like Paytm, Bhim, GooglePay, PhonePe, etc and on the transaction being successful, the Merchant, though not physically present at the place of payment receives a message on his registered mobile number.
(iv) In times where a no-contact payment is in high demand, the Merchant, in case of any home delivery to his customer, can before time send the QR code to his customer through various modes like: Text message, Email, Whatsapp, etc. This way, the delivery person simply leaves the customers parcel at his doorstep without actually coming in contact with the customer. The customer can scan the QR which he received from the Merchant and pay through any UPI payment App like Paytm, Bhim, GooglePay, PhonePe, etc. The transaction on being successful results in a message being sent to the Merchant’s registered mobile number.
Home delivery of Cash feature: Due to the current scenario, people cannot step out even to withdraw cash. Cash is a necessity for many things such as buying vegetables from the vendor, etc. NPCI has authorized the use of UPI for doing ATM like transactions. The idea behind this is to inculcate that feature in our product and services. Delivery drivers who use our App will be able to offer this additional service of ‘ATM cash at home.’
